Regal Lager Inc. is recalling 1,100 CYBEX strollers because the strollers’ hinge mechanism may cut or amputate children’s fingers when it is unfolded or opened. According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), Regal Lager has received one report of a child placing his finger in the stroller’s hinge mechanism, resulting in a finger fracture.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact Regal Lager to receive a free hinge cover retrofit kit.
